prolonged exposure therapy PE is a psychotherapy method to help with PTSD, depression and anxiety specifically for PSP, first responders, military personnel, firefighters, doctors, nurses, and paramedics

Prolonged Exposure Therapy (PE)

This session provides education and training on Prolonged Exposure (PE) as a treatment modality; it is not a therapeutic treatment session. Participants will learn about the principles, structure, and clinical application of PE, including how it supports individuals experiencing trauma-related symptoms and PTSD.

The training is appropriate for clinicians, peer support teams, reintegration teams, and other professionals who support trauma-exposed individuals. It is intended to build understanding of the modality, help participants recognize when PE may be appropriate, and strengthen their ability to support individuals who are participating in treatment.
